05.09.2014 : TNEA Centenary valeditory celebration held at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai, presided by His Excellency Dr.A.P.J. Abdulkalam, with the participation of Dr.Iyyamperumal, Executive Director, Tamilnadu Science & Technology and Kalaimamani Smt.Veenai E.Gayathiri Vice Chancellor, Tamilnadu Music and Fine Arts University, Chennai.

02.07.2001 : TNEA celebrated the 90th year anniversary in which the various technical publications of the Engineers were released.

History

TAMILNADU ENGINEERING ASSOCIATION (TNEA) was established in the year 1910 with the prior approval of the British Government formerly named as Madras PWD Sub Engineer’s Association. It is an age old traditional Association.
